Celebrating five decades of music, APO Hiking Society brought their 50 Years of Great Music tour to Australia in February 2024.
Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo brought generations of Filipino audiences together through the songs and stories that helped shape Original Pilipino Music. The Australian tour travelled through Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin.

The Australian concerts celebrated APO Hiking Society’s five-decade musical legacy and brought together audiences across generations. About APO Hiking Society
APO Hiking Society is one of the defining groups of Original Pilipino Music, with a musical legacy spanning five decades. The group became known for songs exploring love, friendship, Filipino life and social themes, helping shape generations of OPM. The original trio consisted of Jim Paredes, Boboy Garovillo and Danny Javier. Danny Javier passed away in 2022, while Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo continue to perform and celebrate APO’s enduring musical legacy.
